Hi Everyone!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I am a Canadian mother of a sweet two and a half year old girl named Hannah and a five year old German Shepherd named Tasha. My husband Tim and I have been together for about ten years, married for four. A year ago we moved into our forever home and are slowly but surely turning it into our dream house.

My passions are baking, reading and gardening. I am becoming better at DIY projects. As a mom, I am becoming more and more concerned with what I put in my body and my child's body, so I am slowly "going green" (it's a process!) and becoming more environmentally aware.

 I am a kindergarten teacher by profession and love what I do. My favourite subject to teach is reading. It gives me a thrill to see the pieces come together for a child who can read all by themselves. You may see some posts on here that I hope will be helpful to parents supporting early literacy for their children!

My purpose for this blog is to document my adventures in motherhood and house ownership/renovation. I hope to be a resource for other moms and connect with you as much as possible! Thanks for stopping by and please drop me a line!
